Courtesy ground transportation to and from the medical campus is available to registered international patients and one guest at no charge.

This service is available to/from any location in Miami-Dade County* Monday through Friday 6 am to 7 pm. Pick ups must be pre-scheduled, and same-day service may not be available. If you are a wheel-chair bound patient or have physical challenges, let us know, so that the appropriate vehicle can be dispatched to accommodate your needs.
*Courtesy transportation service to/from Miami International Airport (MIA) is not available at this time.

Taxi and Shuttle Service at Miami International Airport
Private taxicabs and Super Shuttles are available 24 hours a day and can only be accessed at the ARRIVAL (ground) level at the Miami International Airport, outside of the baggage claim area. Wheelchair accessible taxicabs and vans are available upon request to any Taxi Starter, a uniformed airport staff person located on the ground level of the terminal, outside of the baggage claim area. Cost for taxis are determined by mileage fees. A taxi ride to University of Miami medical campus can typically cost $25 one way. You do not need to make reservations to use the Super Shuttle.

Free Airport Shuttle Provided by Hotels
You may wish to consider staying at a hotel that offers free airport transportation to its guests. Free shuttle transportation to/from MIA are provided by the following hotels, which are only minutes away from the UM Medical Campus.
